This study was conducted to provide preliminary information for developing a scope of work for a two-year investigation into the presence of a steelhead population in the Santa Clara River. Data were gathered from the Santa Clara River, Sespe Creek, and United Water Conservation District spreading grounds. The results of the two-year investigation are documented in Lower Santa Clara River Steelhead Study (Final Report).
